Match Report:
Another disappointing week for Tormarton. Started well in the first half and both teams were evenly matched. Towards the end of the first half, Seymour scored the first goal of the game. It was a well worked goal with a through ball played to the striker in the box. From the right-hand side of the goal, he stuck across the face of goal into the bottom left corner. The game was 1-0 to Seymour at the end of the first half.
In the second half, Seymour scored their second goal from a corner. The ball was crossed into the box near the front post and was met by an oncoming player heading the ball low into the net after losing his man. Seymour followed up with a third goal before the end of the game. Full time result was 3-0, some more improvements for the Tors but more work is needed.

Absolutely excellent today. Still sprinting back when 3-0 down, trying to defend. Cannot fault the effort from him today.
Sam Jarman (Manager):
"3-0, probably not a fair result or reflection from the way that we played. For a lot of the game, we did battle hard and worked really well, there are a lot of positives to take from the game. Again, its three silly mistakes. We’ve let them turn inside us, lost our man on the corner and not picking up our man on the back post. We were unlucky, Harry Trigg hit the post. We’ve taken two or three chances in the first half and we’re snatching at them. Well done to Indie and Mitch Gooding, both out of position but really putting a shift in. I cannot fault the effort from anyone that played today, I can’t look at anyone and say they could have tried harder because the effort was there. It’s tough, we didn’t really have a proper striker today and you’re always up against it when that is the case. We’ve got some big names coming back into the fold next weekend. Times running out, the effort is there but we need to start getting results, need to start grinding them out. Well done to Harry Barber today for the effort cutting the grass, always appreciated. Well done to Stevo, Man of the Match. Longy (skipper for the day), absolutely fantastic performance, talking to the boys, leading by example. Well done."
