Match Report:
After the disappointment of previous weeks an improvement was much needed from Tormarton. We got out of the races and took the lead. Mason England scoring his first goal for the club with the goal provided by Ellis Baker. Tormarton continued the intensity and doubled their lead not long after with a long-range effort from Harry Trigg, assisted by Sam Brain. Within the first half an hour, the Tors made it 3-0. Having already scored Mason turnt provided to assist Tobie Parsons for his goal. Five minutes after we conceded a penalty as Stephen Hobbs takes down a player in the box. Winterbourne dispatched the penalty to make it 3-1. Winterbourne add to their tally before half time, going in 3-2 down at the break.
The second half was not a half to remember for Tormarton. After going 3-0 up in the first half, Winterbourne got themselves level in the second half and then proceeded to take the lead. The goals continued to come for Winterbourne, scoring a total of 5 goals in the second half. A disappointing end to such a good start for the Tors. Plenty to build on and take into next week.

Mason England
Scoring his first goal for Tormarton. He scored one goal and got one assist. His goal was well-worked and he gave a really mature performance. He's really starting to become a player that can become an important part of this team.
Sam Jarman (Manager):
"Tough one to take today. Absolutely fantastic first half an hour, literally couldn't put a foot wrong. We asked for a response and a response was given with three really well worked goals. Big shoutout to the boys involved with the goals: Mitch; Mason; Ellis; Tobi; Brainer, and Harry Trigg. Well done boys, absolutely excellent. Three nil up and I think we started to panic a bit didn’t we and they got themselves back into the game. It was a tough one, but well done to everyone that played. Great effort, really goof performances all over the park. Good to see Stevo and Ben back in tors shirts properly. Jamie Stait playing centre-mid, excellent, really well done. Really mature performance from brainer up top. I don’t think it was fair to say it was a 7-3 game, maybe 4-3. We let them have a few goals. Our defensive shape was fantastic, in the end with their maturity they got the better of us. We worked hard, did really well, tried something new and it looked like it worked. The first 30 minutes is what I know we are capable of this season and I know we will get there. We go again next week at home."
ANDY LONG (Player):
“The lads you did everything I asked for, nice to see some fight in them today despite some dirty challenges. The likes of Toby getting back up and going again, things I love to see. So many positives to take out of today, which is so important to carry this on through to training and next weeks match.
Bet Jamos shattered! Big shout out to him today the way he battled but then would thread a ball through was sensational to watch from my view. Could be a good CM in the making."
aNDY mAY (Player):
"The guys were brilliant, for a change I actually couldn’t take my eyes off the game. Gotta do it for the full 90 next week, great stuff and some really good goals, Triggys being the pick of the bunch for me!"
